Job Salary : £35000 - £37000 per annum
Job Description : Three permanent opportunities have arisen for Hospitality Services Managers to be based at the naval bases in Gosport, Fareham, and Portsmouth.

As Hospitality Service Manager you will be responsible for the management and delivery of Hospitality/Hotel Services, Accommodation Management and sub contracted catering, cleaning and waste management. The role will involve managing three managers and twelve staff and will involve dealing with approx 200 subcontractors. Key responsibilities will include:-

Managing accommodation/hotel services and delivering first class services in line with contractual outputs and the sharing of best practise
Promoting the development and optimum performance of delivery team and outsourced supply chain partners ensuring that there are no service failures in area of delivery
Ensuring financial and budget targets are achieved with a proactive focus to identify and implement commercial solutions to improve efficiencies and organic growth
Deputising for the Establishment Site Service Manager as and when required
Support the central business development function
Managing sub-contracts within the Accommodation/Hotel Services Team
Being responsible for the monthly completion of all contractually required reporting
Being responsible for the catering account

Successful applicants will have a hospitality background (preferably including food services) and any experience of contract management/catering management would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be provided. You should have strong operational management experience with effective staff management skills and the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels. You should have strong commercial and financial awareness with a proven track record of managing a budget, strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are also required. This role offers a salary of 35-37K
