Our client, a research organisation working with the food and drink industry is seeking a graduate Home Economist who wishes to start their career in a challenging role.
The ideal candidate will have an HND/Degree in Home Economics or Consumer Science with GCSE Maths, English and Science and preferably a Food Hygiene Certificate. You will have passion for food, good organisational skills, with an eye for accuracy and detail and the ability to work to tight schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good technical knowledge with an understanding of food and food preparation are a prerequisite. This is a very interesting and varied position for an enthusiastic graduate.
You will be working in the many aspects of food quality and sensory analysis, undertaking technical duties relating to product evaluations, bench marking and surveys. You will be expected to: prepare client reports, sample evaluations and data comparisons; conduct desk research, assist in seminar organisations and prepare and deliver presentations.
